Food was good. Service was terrible. They brought pommes without any ketchup. Had to ask twice before we got any. The guy was not hospitable at all. I had expected a bit more from the famous restaurant in town.

When we arrived the beer garden was very busy, but we were greeted very nicely and got a seat. Due to the large number of guests, the waiting time was a little longer. Thanks to the friendly and cordial waiters, this was tolerable and not tragic. Drinks and food were brought with a sympathetic smile. The kitchen did an excellent job. Every single dish was a poem in itself, and the wait was definitely worth it, good things take time. Since we are only here on vacation, we have reserved again for next week to celebrate our last evening in Franconia properly.

Very good home-style Bavarian cuisine, the schnitzels are exactly how you would expect a good schnitzel to be. Very friendly and competent service, you don't have to ask afterwards. Will definitely be back on our next trip to or from Bella Italia. So far, no strange inflation-compensating prices have been applied here, on the contrary, it is very cheap

We found Geyer by chance on the way back to Dresden or found it on Maps, called and luckily got a table for 8 people just 1.5 hours later (Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m.). A cozy, Franconian restaurant with delicious home-style cooking at normal prices, as you would expect from the Free State. In addition, friendly service and a general atmosphere in which you felt like you were at home! Maybe you can reduce the price of the bottle of water a little, otherwise there's nothing to complain about. My Schäufele was a hit, the others' food also looked like it tasted: great! If it's okay, we'll come back.

Bratwurst soup as a starter and the monthly offer in October: White sausage cordon bleu, filled with sweet mustard, white sausages, blue cheese in pretzel breading with fried potatoes. That was a taste experience!
